FREE App to Remind Women to Check the “Girls”

I LOVE this FREE iPhone app… Your Man Reminder from Rethink Breast Cancer it uses hot guys to remind women to check their breasts every month.  Yes it’s a bit silly but it works! (Kinda like the Sit or Squat App from Charmin that helps locate the nearest public potty)  Everyone knows that your best chance at beating cancer- any kind of cancer- is EARLY DETECTION.  So why not have some fun with it?!

Here’s the dealio (as my daughter always says)

Most cases of breast cancer are detected by women who notice changes and report them to their doctor. If breast cancer is found early, you have a much higher chance of beating it. This app sends out regular reminders- with a bit of encouragement from a cute guy- to check your breasts.

I love ‘The Man Reminder’. Who do you want to give your monthly reminders to self-check?  The superstar athlete?  The boy next door?  The smooth heart breaker?  The perfectly put together preppie?  The rugged blue-collar guy?  Or the successful businessman?  (Personally I’d like to see Christian Grey as a option!)

This app not only reminds you to do your monthly self breast exams, but it also teaches you how to do it (Touch, Look, Check), tells you what to look for (signs & symptoms), and even has a place for you to write notes (just in case you discover something & want to ask your doctor).  It even reminds you to make your annual doctor’s appointment.

I just downloaded it to my phone!
